"Sometimes life get's hard. It happens to everyone. An unexpected bill comes up and you run short on cash. When this happens to a family with a special needs child it can be more stress than what some of us can deal with. Sometimes the items we need can't even be bought locally. A while back I was in this position. We needed something for our son and it couldn't be found at a price I could afford ANYWHERE. We were (and still are) waiting on insurance, praying they would pull through for us but it just hasn't happened yet. I was scouring the web looking for resources and went to one of the Facebook pages where I found a post from Megan talking about The Parker Lee Project. Her story broke and blessed my heart all in the same moment. I contacted TPLP and filled out a form explaining our situation. Within a week we had what we needed, thanks to TPLP. I have been blessed to be able to make a donation to TPLP and I would encourage EVERYONE to do the same however TPLP doesn't have a monetary requirement to obtain assistance from them. It's a very unique, I might even say ONE OF A KIND project. For three months we have had to ask for help in finding formula for our son while we wait out the insurance appeals. Right now I can honestly say that I don't know what we would do if it weren't for the assistance provided by TPLP. I prayed and God answered my prayers. Words can't express how thankful we are that this project is available and that they chose to help us when no one else would. We are truly forever grateful!"

The Parker Lee Project helped our daughter Malia all the way in Costa Rica. Living in Costa Rica limits us to supplies. For the longest time we had been using a feeding pump that was connected to a pole. It was outdated and antiquated. We got in touch with TPLP and Megan was so kind and giving. She gave us her daughter, Parker's, Kangaroo Joey feeding pump that allowed us to be mobile and not a slave to the feeding pole. The liberty of being able to go out to places now while feeding Malia was incredible. TPLP has helped us various time in getting us supplies that we can not get here. TPLP is a wonderful organization and we are blessed to have them in our lives.
